July 3 – George Washington: Ordained of God – Abravanel Hall
Celebrate the 4th of July with a choral masterwork about one of America’s founding fathers. The show recounts the true history of George Washington’s difficulties and miracles wrought during the American War for Independence which led to the birth of our nation.
July 12-27 – Cinderella – Regent Street Black Box
This new version of the beloved fairy tale is the perfect play for families. As Cinderella tries to outmaneuver her wicked stepmother, she must decide if her story ends as a fairy tale or as a revenge tragedy. Thrilling, heartwarming, and hilarious, this new version is not to be missed! Recommended for children who can focus on a story for about 80 minutes – about 6 & up. There are a few potentially frightening moments.
July 12-14 – Damn These Heels – The Rose
Utah Film Center’s 16th annual Damn These Heels is a festival that explores LGBTQ culture, ideas, struggles, and triumphs through independent, documentary, and foreign films from around the world. The longest running LGBTQ Film Festival in the Mountain West and only one in Utah, Damn These Heels has presented more than 230 thought-provoking and entertaining films over the years.

July 18 – Pod Tours America – Eccles Theater

July 19 – Jay Owenhouse – The Rose

July 20 – Daniel Tosh – Eccles Theater
Best known from the Comedy Central show Tosh.0, Daniel Tosh will perform an evening of standup comedy. This show is suggested for mature audiences.
