Pricing and Availability
ArtTix.org sells tickets on behalf of George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Theater, Maurice Abravanel Hall, Janey Quinney Lawson Capitol Theatre, Mid-Valley Performing Arts Center, and the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center, venues owned and operated by the Salt Lake County Center for the Arts and for certain ticket outlets in Logan, Utah (“Event Venues”).
ArtTix.org acts only as agent for these Event Venues, which means ArtTix.org does not set the ticket prices and is not responsible for any claims or representations made by Event Venues or the event providers who use the Event Venues for their performances. Admission
The right of event admission is reserved, and subject to the Event Venue’s terms of admission (i.e. minimum age requirements, surcharges for minors, etc.). Recommended minimum age for all performances is eight years or older unless otherwise specified and no babes in arms. Late arrival may result in non-admittance until a suitable break in the performance. In some venues and for some performances, there will be no seating after curtain time. Please refer to the event page or venue page for specific information. Entry may be refused if tickets are damaged or defaced in any way, or are not purchased through authorized points of sale. Entry may also be refused if tickets are lost or stolen.
Stand-by Ticketing Policy
At the discretion of the Event Venues, stand-by ticketing will be offered only for selected performances that have a no-late seating policy. All patrons MUST be seated 5 minutes after the performance start time. Tickets for patrons not seated at least 5 minutes after the performance start time will become invalid and non-refundable.
Stand-by tickets will be sold to fill the seats of late patrons and issued numbers. Stand-by patrons will line up at the theatre door in numerical order and at the discretion of the producing company representative, stand-by patrons will be admitted 5 minutes after the performance start time. A stand-by ticket does not guarantee a seat or seating together and it cannot be used for admittance to any other performance other than the date/time printed on the ticket. Stand-by ticketed patrons who are not seated for the performance must return to the ticket office immediately and present their stand-by ticket for a full refund.
Number of Tickets or “Ticket Limits”
When purchasing tickets on our Site, you are limited to a specified number of tickets for each event (also known as a “ticket limit”). Please refer to the event page for posted ticket limits. This policy is in effect to discourage unfair ticket-buying practices. We reserve the right to cancel any or all orders and tickets without notice to you if you exceed the posted limits. This includes orders associated with the same name, e-mail address, billing address, credit card number, or other information.
Canceled, Postponed, or Rescheduled Events
Occasionally, performances are canceled, postponed, or rescheduled. Should this occur, ArtTix.org shall use reasonable efforts to inform you of refund or exchange procedures for that performance. Specific refund, exchange, or other options are determined by the event provider, and the purchaser may be referred directly to the event provider for refund, exchange, or other. For exact instructions on any canceled, postponed, or rescheduled performance, please contact ArtTix. If an event is canceled, and you purchased your ticket through ArtTix, we will automatically issue you a refund of the amount you paid for your tickets, including all fees, to the credit card that you used to purchase that ticket. If you used any other payment method, please contact us for more information or to request a refund. Only the original purchaser will be eligible for a refund. If you bought your tickets at a retail outlet, you have to return them to that location. If the event was canceled, postponed, relocated, or rescheduled, the Event Venue or event provider may set refund limitations. Please contact us or the event provider for more information if you cannot attend the rescheduled event. Please make sure to include/provide your order number so we may expedite your refund if applicable ArtTix will not be liable for any expenses that you or anyone else incurs in connection with a canceled or postponed event.
Billing Information Verification
Orders are processed only after a billing address, and other billing information has been verified. Occasionally, we receive incorrect billing or credit card account information for a ticket order that can delay processing and delivery. In these cases, ArtTix customer service will attempt to contact you, using the information provided at the time of purchase. If we are unable to reach you after our initial attempt, we may cancel your order without further notice.
Pricing and Other Errors
If the amount you pay for a ticket is incorrect regardless of whether because of an error in a price posted on this Site or otherwise communicated to you, or you are able to order a ticket before its scheduled on-sale or presale date or you are able to order a ticket that was not supposed to have been released for sale, then we have the right to cancel that ticket/order and refund the amount paid.
Limitation of Liability
You voluntarily assume all risks incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring before, during, or after the event, and you waive any claims for personal injury or death against us, management, facilities, artists, other participants, and all affiliated entities, agents, officers, directors, owners and employees on behalf of yourself and any accompanying minor. You bear all risks related to weather. See the Limitation of Liability section in the Terms of Use for additional limits on our liability.
Recording, Transmission, and Exhibition
You agree not to record or transmit, or aid in recording or transmitting, any description, account, picture, or reproduction of the event. You agree that the event for which you purchase tickets is a public event, that your appearance and actions inside and outside the venue where the event occurs are public in nature, and that you have no expectation of privacy with regard to your actions or conduct at the event.
