More than 600 students from 59 high school productions will take the Eccles Theater Stage for the 15th annual Utah High School Musical Theatre Awards April 12th, 2025. The Awards represent a musical theatre scholarship program that rewards excellence at the high school level. Ten show-stopping numbers from 10 juried musicals will showcase the Best Musical finalists from schools across the state. The evening will be hosted by Utah Festival's founding director, Michael Ballam. The program includes medleys performed together by all contenders for Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress.
