The Veena is an ancient Indian lute that has been a carrier of Carnatic or South Indian classical music over the millenia. We present a concert by Kapila and Sushruta Chandramouli, siblings who represent the 11th generation of muscians in the famed Karaikudi lineage of musicians. They will be joined by Jagadeesh Jayaprakash on the Mridaganam.
Run time: 90 minutes, includes 10 minute intermission.
Age policy: Recommended for ages 8 and up. Children 13 months and under (infants being held) do not require a ticket. All other patrons require a ticket regardless of age.
