Providing backstage tours, master classes, panel discussions, and show shadowing, the Eccles Theater Technical Outreach (ETTO) Program is intended to be a nexus for technical education and career opportunities
MISSION Our team at the Eccles Theater feels extremely fortunate to be the caretakers of such an amazing venue, the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Theater. We recognize that following a career in technical theater requires mentorship, support, and educational opportunities. Our entire organization has benefited from these gifts in the past, We want to make sure that they are available for the next generation of technicians.
Programs
Masterclasses Learn about a specific discipline or piece of hardware with various levels of courses taught by industry leaders and manufacture representatives.
Panel Discussions Attend discussions presented by industry leaders on a wide range of subjects, including where is the industry headed and what skills will get you hired.
Show Shadowing Work an actual show. You will be partnered with a house department lead and will be a crew member for the entire production.
