Our second annual holiday art installation is on display!
This year’s installation is an artist-designed, one-of-a-kind, non-traditional holiday tree hanging from the ceiling of the five-story Eccles Theater lobby. The tree, titled “Winter Wind,” was designed by Rob and Shelley Beishline with Tooza Design, and was made using a recognizable symbol Utah’s winter culture – the snowboard.
There are 75 snowboards hanging from a metal frame. Each snowboard has reflective material on the underside, providing a unique experience when looking up at the tree from directly below.
“Winter Wind” will be on display through the new year.
