In Yorkshire England in 1908, a young man—Arthur Craven—inherits his family’s estate Greyhawk upon the untimely deaths of both his parents. With the house comes the care of his troubled sister Ada and gambling debts from his brother Sidney. As Arthur’s world shifts and burdens mount, secrets of old come seeping through the cracks, and strange visions interrupt his waking hours, walking like living nightmares through the halls of Greyhawk. Craven is a horror play by award-winning playwright Élise C. Hanson, whose works have garnered praise and attention from local houses and journals and seen performances locally and in the greater United States. For Craven, she is the recipient of the 2024 George Plautz Playwright Prize.
Run time: 130 minutes, includes 10 minute intermission.
Age policy: Recommended for ages 8 and up. All patrons require a ticket (no babies in arms).
